The Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Learning and Teaching) provides leadership in:

Curriculum by Design

Curriculum reform and renewal, and the redesign of administrative processes to ensure that students and staff experience the best in educational innovation;

Virtual Learning Environment

adapting and connecting enterprise-level technologies to provide staff and students with accessible and engaging experiences in the future of learning;

The Monash Passport

highlighting and recognising student skill development in curriculum and co-curriculum programs;

Educational Excellence

staff education in teaching, grants and awards development, development and monitoring of performance development standards in education, development of education-focused academic roles.

The Office is able to undertake consultancy work in the following areas:

• Development and monitoring of performance standards for teaching staff;
• Peer development programs for staff needing to improve their teaching;
• Staff education in grant and teaching award writing;
• Change management for curriculum renewal;
• Paperless educational administration that emphasises staff usability; and
• Identifying and adapting the best technologies for staff and student engagement with elearning
